Our Developments
We are pleased to offer a comprehensive service from concept to completion in conjunction with our in-house team and associated specialist consultants covering land search and acquisition, planning, design and the complete build process through to the hand over of keys.

Land Search
Do You Have A Pot of Gold?
The answer maybe yes. Jackson Fine Homes specialise in the development of smaller select sites in the Mid and West of Cornwall, usually ranging from one or two plots to fifteen. Larger sites and conversions will be appraised but the individual and specialised nature of our expertise will usually take priority.
We have a number of clients seeking suitable homes and with their prior knowledge of our high build quality we are keen to expand our building operation across a number of appropriate sites.
How Does It Work?
If you have a piece of ground, large garden area, site or building plot with or without planning consent our land director will arrange an initial meeting and discussion without obligation.
Subject to your agreement we will then carry out an initial appraisal involving architectural advisers, planning consultants and local planning authority on a 'pre-application' basis. This will be undertaken at our cost and no charge to the landowner.
Following the initial appraisal we will then discuss the best way forward and depending on the timescales involved enter into a conditional contract or an option agreement. The final sale price being determined by open market value at the date of the planning consent being successfully obtained or when the option agreement is activated. This means the landowner receives the enhanced value of the land post planning permission. At all stages we would advise the landowner to take full legal and expert advise on value to confirm we are maximising the potential of the subject site.
We have been involved both in the role of consultant and land acquisition for over 30 years acting for private and corporate clients. Consequently we have an established working relationship with planning authorities, architects and consultants gained over many years and across multiple disciplines.
The planning process can, on some occasions, be both complicated and sometimes protracted combining problems with designing, planning policy, highways, rights of way, provision of services, environmental issues, ground conditions etc etc. It is our job to co-ordinate the necessary disciplines to provide a solution so that the ultimate goals can be achieved wherever possible. i.e. a viable project maximising the full potential of the site in question.
